Libianca's hit song "People" breaks Rema's Calm Down on Spotify as the fastest streaming African song

Libianca has broken yet another record on a streaming platform. In just 88 days, Libianca’s hit song “People” hit 100 million Spotify streams, breaking Rema’s 100 million in 197 days thus making People the fastest African single to hit that milestone of 100 million streams.

In 2019, Jonzing world a record label owned by D’Prince which is also a subsidiary of Mavin records owned by Don Jazzy, signed Rema. in 2022 he released the song “Calm Down” which hit 100 million streams on Spotify in just 197 days making the song the fastest African song to reach 100 million streams on Spotify.

2 days after the release of “People” Remix which features Mavin records signee, Ayra Starr and Omah Lay, “People” the original version hit 100 million streams on Spotify in just 88 days, breaking Rema’s record. This new record makes Libianca’s song “People” the fasting African song to hit that milestone.
