Coach of the Indomitable Lions – Rigobert Song has seen that it will be more exciting if he starts building the future of the Cameroonian National Soccer team with young players doing well. Adding youngsters in a game against matured and experienced players add builds a sustainable future team.
17 Year Old Attack Wassu Patient has shown great talents with his skills and capability on the pitch. Song Plans to use the youngster’s abilities and push the team to newer heights currently.
17-year-old Coton Sports attacker Wassu Patient is one of the players recently called up by Rigobert Song to join the national team. Many have openly condemned this act of the newly named Indomitable Lion’s Coach. You must be wondering how the 18 years old made his way to this list. Or how Rigobert Song will choose Wasu Patient over other professional players.
Clinton Njie, Christian Bassogog, Choupo Moting, Fabrice Ondoua, were not selected.
Wassu Patient is a lead striker at Coton Sport De Garoua and is known for his goal-scoring streaks. He has evolved and shone in the youth categories perfectly well. And later on, joined the professional group at the end of last year.
Looks like it was love at first sight for Rigobert Song when he saw Wassu Patient playing. He was discovered at the CAF Easter-Cup tournament by the coach of Cameroon’s football team Rigobert Song.
