French forward Kylian Mbappe has become the 7th PSG player to test positive for COVID-19.
Mbappe received his COVID-19 result at the end of training on Monday evening. The result of the test carried out by UEFA was found to be positive and he was immediately placed away from the team, before regaining his home.
As a result of his current COVID-19 status, 21-year-old Mbappe who scored the winner on Saturday as France defeated Sweden 1-0, has been ruled out of France’s Nations League match against Croatia this Tuesday.
Mbappe will also miss PSG opening match of the League 1 season against Lens, to be played on Thursday, alongside six other teammates including Brazillian International Neymar and Argentine Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes.
