Samuel Eto’o Officially Crowned New President of FECAFOOT
A month Ago the former Indomitable Lion Caption Was Voted New President of Cameroon Football Association (Fecafoot)
Yesterday the 17th of January 2022, officially marks the beginning of Samuel Eto’o career as FECAFOOT President. And so as per requirements, there was an official handing over ceremony. The Cameroon Football Federation carried out a smooth transmission of the presidential position.
It should be noted that the football legend Samuel Eto’o was elected Fecafoot President on December 11, 2021. It was only till yesterday that all formal procedures were initiated. The official handing over took place in the FECAFOOT conference hall in Yaounde. There, the former FECAFOOT president, Seidou Mbombo Njoya publicly handed over his baton to his successor Samuel Eto’o.
At the conference room, the former president wished his successor a successful reign. While Samuel Eto’o on the other thanked his predecessor for the kind words.
Though even before the ceremony on Monday, Eto’o has been performing well, bringing a lot of changes.
