AFCON: Egyptian Striker Mostafa Mohamed’s friend arrested for taking exams in his place
A Friend of Salah’s Egypt team-mate Mostafa Mohamed arrested after allegedly pretending to sit for him during exams. Reports say the Egypt national team striker Mostafa Mohamed’s Friend was arrested after taking multiple exams in his place.
Mostafa Mohamed is studying for an Information Technology qualification at the Higher Institute for Management and Information Technology in Giza, Cairo. The 24 years old was due to sit mid-year exams in January. But he can’t because he’s currently representing Egypt in the ongoing AFCON.
Mohamed’s friend who had agreed to sit in for him for the computing exams was caught and taken into custody. The boy in question is reported to have told local media:
“He is my friend and his future is going to be destroyed if he doesn’t take the exam. I just wanted to help, this is the first time I do it.”
No official statement has been released as yet.
