CRITIQSITE REVIEW
Let’s talk about the track “Survivor”

Let’s be honest, Did this song give what it was supposed to give?
This is what we think…
Mind you, Davido and Charlotte Dipanda are individually amazing, but together? The blend just wasn’t blending. The vocals didn’t meet in the middle, the chemistry felt off, and the whole track sounded like Issa Tchiroma and Paul Biya trying to force a handshake.
This collaboration had serious potential. With a different pairing, for sure Davido and Charlotte Dipanda could’ve delivered something much stronger than what we got here.
Vocals & Chemistry — 4/10
Their voices simply didn’t complement each other.
Production — 6/10
Not terrible, but not standout either.
Visuals — 10/10
The visuals carried the entire project on their back.
Overall Verdict
A beautiful video wrapped around a collaboration that didn’t deliver.
Final Score: 5/10
Great to watch, hard to replay.
For Context,
For context, Charlotte Dipanda has a history of perfect collaborations. Remember her feature with Tayc (3 months ago) on “Dis-moi”? Absolute perfection — their voices blended effortlessly, creating a soulful, emotional track that hit all the right notes.
Or take her collab on “Sista” with Yemi Alade some years ago — another flawless blend.
These are the kinds of collaborations that show Charlotte’s magic at work, as their voices blended effortlessly, creating a soulful, emotional track that resonated with fans across Africa and beyond.

And that’s why you will agree with us that the collaboration with Davido just wasn’t worth it. Because at the end of the day, Davido and Charlotte Dipanda just wasted a collab that had the potential to be huge… maybe even Grammy-type huge. But musically? This one no pass.
Critiqsite, we just talk am as e be.
