University of Buea has started the production of it’s own mineral water “UB Spring
The Project was originally set up and presented by Dr Mbua Roy, an expert in Urban Water Management.
The University of Buea, Department of Environmental Science and it’s research division has officially producing it’s own mineral water called the “UB Spring“. With a bottle of UB Spring costung 400frs.
UB Spring will go a long way as an income-generating activity for the university and the department. The Project was originally set up and presented by Dr Mbua Roy, an expert in Urban Water Management. 
The project coordinator revealed that their subsequent project will be sustainable fabric design and textile transformation. Reports have it that both projects were awarded the sum of 5.000.000FCFA to set up incubators for students to start product-led businesses.
Many have applauded this initiative by the university with the hope that this newfound system has come to stay.
