UB Final Year Student Dies shortly After Submitting her Defense Project

In Buea today Wednesday, June 14, 2023, a final-year student has been reported dead after submitting her defense project. Her name we got as Kenmagne Marlyse Laury according to MMI, was a final-year student in the Faculty of Education at the University of Buea (UB) with Registration number ED20A441.

Reports say she complained of stomach pains shortly after submitting her defense project to school she was then rushed to the hospital where she gave up the ghost shortly after. According to the same source, the doctors could not determine with certainty what actually went wrong as they were dangling between gastritis, appendix, and liver problem

“UB student just died after summiting chapter give of her project and she when back home crying of stomach pain,” a source told MMI.

“They took her to the hospital and the doctor said it was appendix and later said it was gastric and again said it was lever problem. Just like that and she died” the source added.
