“They use us against each other and then blame all of us for it”. Stephanie Tum.
Cameroonian movie producer and actor Stephanie Tum makes a statement concerning the killings in the English speaking part of Cameroon as she took to her Facebook page days ago to air her mind
“#WeDonTire!!!!???
It’s truly sad as a Cameroonian living in Cameroon and raising kids in this country to wake up every morning to appalling news of murder, crimes , an insecure environment and always living in constant fear of the unknown.
If it’s not the Anglophone crises that has been plaguing us for the past 7 years plus, it’s the murder of innocent citizens and journalists. They use us against each other and then blame all of us for it.
We wake up to news of kids ( both boys and girls) being raped by thesame people who are supposed to protect them.
My heart breaks for the families of the CDC workers killed by Ambazonian fighters. I strongly condemn this atrocity. We cannot continue to tolerate attacks on innocent people. I was thinking that the Southern Cameroons that you seek is one founded on peace and justice, and the respect for the rule of law. I am advocating for peace through Dialogue. I am advocating for a justice system that is for the people.
We need to unite our forces as one and speak up/fight for the Cameroon we want, for the future of our kids. A better Cameroon is possible if we all stand as one. They have successfully put in place a divide and rule system that has pitched us against each other which works to their advantage. We are fighting a common enemy, a common system built on manipulation, deceit, bribery and corruption!!!
This is not an Anglophone versus Francophone fight.
This is OUR Fight!!!
Silence is not only complacency it is an endorsement.
