[Sports][Transfer]: Cameroon international Robert Ndip Tambe joins CFR Cluj in Romania

Romanian side CFR Cluj has confirmed the free signing of Cameroon international Robert Ndip Tambe after his deal at Adana Demirspor expired.

The 24-year-old forward only joined Turkish second division outfit Adana Demirspor last summer, scoring 14 goals and assisting further three in 31 appearances, as his former side finished in 14th place.

Tambe has represented the Cameroon national team 10 times before and was a key part of the team that won the 2017 AFCON, featuring in six games, including the final against Egypt.

He started his career at home side Cinyodev FC, before joining Polish outfit LZS Piotrówka in 2015. He spent only one year in Poland before moving to Slovenia’s Spartak Trnava, who sold him to Adana Demirspor in July 2017.

He becomes the Romanian side’s fourth summer signing following deals for Andrei Radu, Mate Males, and Hungary international Ádám Lang, who was also announced on Wednesday.

The four-time Romanian champions were crowned as Liga I champions last season and will participate in the UEFA Champions League next season, starting from the second qualifying round.
