LOCKO Terminates Contract With Universal Music Africa
Fresh developments have emerged that Locko refused to sign a new contract with Universal Music after his contract was set to expire.
Cameroonian music star, LOCKO, has terminated his contract with former record label. Locko had signed a deal under Universal Music Africa 4 years ago, joining Tenor as the only two Cameroonian artists signed under the label. The singer rose to prominence after his hit songs “Margo” and “Nduttu”. And till then, he has been meeting the expectations of his fans.
While under Universal Music Africa, Locko still gave out some hits songs. Songs like “Je serai la”, “Hein Hein Hein”, and many more. And equally bagging several endorsement deals here and there. Not forgetting the many awards he received. But as said, everything has an end. And this is the end of the road for LOCKO and Universal Music Africa.
The Yema Gang Boss has now taken to his social media to announce his termination of the contract. Locko stressed on the point that, his “ERA” album marks the end of collaboration between YEMA and Universal Music Africa.
