‘I forbade My Son Tik Dengue to go to Cabrel’s funeral’: comedian’s mother makes revelations

Popular Cameroon comedian and Tiktok personality Tik Dengue was not present at the funeral of his mentor/friend Cabrel Nanjip and His absence has raised questions and controversies. Over the years these two have been in comedy skits together and attend events.
Recently Tik Dengue‘s Mother cleared the air surrounding her son’s absence by posting a video on his page. In this video, she explains that due to rumors Cabrel Nanjip died mysteriously and that her son is the next to die, so she preferred that her son not go to Bagangte.
As a parent, after listening to everything that is circulating on the internet in regards to Cabrel’s sudden tragic passing. I stop my son from going to the funeral. I’m sorry. Tik did not go to mourn his friend Cabrel, not because of him but me.
Cabrel’s death was very hard for my son. He felt really depressed. You cant even imagine how much. They say your best friend is dead and they say the next victim is you. It’s a traumatising experience, at home my child didn’t even sleep in his room. He spent three weeks sitting in his little brother’s room.
It’s sad to say but no one will ever see Cabrel Nanjip Nyamton on this earth again. The man is gone, only his works will remain. After the vigil, place now at the solemn moment of the burial.
His funeral was attended by a number of high profiled personalities including government officials, indeed Cabrel Nanjip was famous in Cameroon.
Attendees include minister of public work and administrative reform, minister of housing an urban development Celestine Ketcha Courtes. Jean De Dieu Momo; Laure Moa Minga, Muriel Blanche, Ulrich Takam, Fingon Tralala, Maaahlox and many other influencers.
