WHO IS ISHAKU
Onesimus Ishaku Abishidon, known for his stage name as “Ishaku,” is a songwriter and singer who sings in English, Pidgin, French and Hausa, and infuses afrobeat with dancehall, Raggaeton, hip pop, Rnb and Mboko. Ishaku was born in northern Nigeria to a Nigerian mother and a Cameroonian father. He discovered he was gifted to entertain at the age of 13. He had the opportunity to share the same stage with the legendary Tuface Idibia. He was also inspired to become a great artist by so many legendary artists across the globe.
