Breaking News: A fiery crash involving Cameroonian Rapper Tenor Leaves One Dead
Cameroonian rapper real name Thierry Mengoumou Ayia but popularly known as Tenor has been involved in a ghastly car accident on his way back from a show in Douala.
According to some sources, “ in the early morning of Thursday, July 15, 2021, at around 4 am his car which was driving at full speed, after having made a glide, caught fire on the side of the economic capital (Douala) more precisely at the level of the Rond-point Feu Rouge Bessengue ”, We learn.
He and one other person are seriously injured while a third is confirmed dead

The accident occurred on Thursday, July 15, 2021, as the rapper and his friends were returning from a show at the ‘Institut français du Cameroun.
Prolific Cameroonian journalist, writer, researcher, political activist, and whistleblower Boris Bertolt, announced the incident via his Facebook page and was later confirmed by numerous news outlets, adding that the fatal accident claimed the life of a young fan named Erica 22 years old, two others survived, including Tenor.
Reports say the car hit an electric pole and caught fire instantly. The young Erica who was seated in the back pas through the windscreen, onto the road where she hit her head heavily and died on the spot.
The driver is said to be on the run. Meanwhile, Tenor and the other victim onboard sustained severe injuries and were transported to the Laquintinie hospital. Reports say the rapper is in critical condition.
Local sources say the car kept burning even after the victims were rescued until the fire was put out by inhabitants of the neighborhood.
The family of the late Erica who is yet to come to terms with her sudden and tragic departure stormed the Laquinitine hospital this morning crying and demanding explanations as to what happened to their daughter. She only left to have fun but unfortunately met her doom.
