AFCON: CAF releases the Afcon 2021 Team Of The Tournament
The starting 11 for the team features 4 Senegalese, 3 Egyptians, 2 Burkina Bé, 1 Morrocan and 1 Cameroonian.
The African Football Federation (CAF) have officially released the Afcon 2021 team of the tournament. The list of the best 11 players of each position was made public yesterday.
According to the list, these are players who can proudly defend the continent Africa in football for the AFCON 2021. Their exceptional performance at the tournament saved them a sport on this list.
The list comprises players from across the national teams who took part in the competition. The starting 11 for the team features 4 Senegalese, 3 Egyptians, 2 Burkina Bé, 1 Morrocan and 1 Cameroonian.
It should be noted that only Indomitable Lion’s Captain Vincent Aboubakar made it to this list. While André Onana, Collins Fai, Zambo Anguissa and Toko Elambi features as substitutes for the team.
Cameroonians have openly shown their dissatisfaction for the lineups as they think more Cameroonians had to be included.
