AFCON 2021 draws, Cameroon opens against Burkina Faso

The Afcon 2021 draws have given their results, with Cameroon, five-time winners of Afcon, and the host country plays the opening game against Burkina Faso at the Olembe stadium Yaounde.

The current title holders Algeria in the same (Group E) as Ivory Coast, one of Africa s powerhouse. Another group also considered as the group of death is (group D) comprising Nigeria, Egypt, Sudan, and Guinee Bissau. Nigeria and Egypt have both won the Afcon title, with Egypt winning at least seven times the trophy. The other groups are more or less balance with each team having a chance of qualifying. Samuel Eto fils, Rigobert song, Didier Drogba, Lucas Radebe, and el hadj Diouf from Senegal were some African football legends present to carry out the drawing exercise.
