The 28th edition of the Mount Cameroon race of Hope was welcomed with two heavy explosions in Buea. According to viral video online, two devices were detonated at the Biaka Junction and Bonduma Gate in Buea, South West Region of Cameroon.
And as per the video, it is clear that it happened barely few minutes after the departure of the athletes. Reports online have it that the explosion happened around 7:00am.
Earlier before today, “Separatists” had declared a lockdown ahead of today’s Mountain Race. Reason why many suspects that it was probably a set up by alleged Separatist fighters.
