The stadium has been abandoned since the start of the Anglophone Crisis in the North West. Mr. Ahmad Ngah Noah visited the abandoned stadium with his colleagues to see for themselves the state of the stadium. The stadium doesn’t look like one. Chairs and other things have been destroyed.

Although no official statement has been made about it, Mr. Ahmad Ngah Noah is at least aware of what lies ahead of him and knows what needs to be done. Taking over a region that lacks sports infrastructure is a lot of responsibility to shoulder. The population and the country look up to him to bring back sports in the Northwest.
