Cameroon Makes It Through To AFCON Semi-Finals
The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon advanced to the semi-finals with a 2-0 triumph over the Gambia. Cameroon was able to eliminate Gambia thanks to the two beautiful goals from Toko Ekambi.
Toko Ekambi headed in from a cross in the 50th minute and side-footed into the top of the net from another cross in the 57th minute of the match.
On the other hand, The “Dependable Fai” (Fai Collins) and Martin Yma, played a very excellent role as he comes through with his assist at the perfect time.
The French-born Toko Ekambi now has five goals at the tournament. Making him just one goal behind Cameroon captain Vincent Aboubakar. And at the end of the match, Ekambi was crowned man of the match.
Cameroon will play the winner of the Egypt vs Morocco quarterfinal, scheduled to be played on Today Sunday.
