Breaking: LIBIANCA Nominated for BET AWARDS 2023

Cameroonian singer Libianca, has been nominated for the 2023 BET Awards. Libianca was nominated under the “Best New International Act” (Viewer’s Choice) category.

The 23rd BET Awards will take place on June 25, 2023, to celebrate achievements in entertainment and honors music, sports, television, and movies. The ceremony will be held in Los Angeles, United States.

The ”PEOPLE” singer’s nomination was announced in a statement released on the official website of BET on Thursday, June 8, 2023. According to the nominees’ list, Libianca is going against Nigeria’s Asake for the same award. Other nominees are UK’s Flo and Raye, Ghana’s Camidoh, France’s Maureen and Werenoi, Brazil’s MC Ryan SP, and South Africa’s Pabu Cooper.

Libianca keeps breaking new boundaries and records. It is the first time a Cameroonian artist is being nominated for this prestigious awards.
