A student of the University of Yaounde 1 in the political capital of Cameroon, has been found dead under unknown circumstances.
The name we got as Engamba Laeticia according to MMI, was a final year student in the Department of modern letters at the University of Yaounde 1. She was found dead on the 31st of March 2023 after attending a wedding reception. Sources from MMI confirm that the circumstances surrounding the young girl’s demise were still unclear as investigations are ongoing. There have been so many variables linked to the death of the young girl as sources from MMI say
“she attended a wedding reception and the following day she was found dead”. Some say she might have been poisoned at the wedding reception and others say she might have been strangled to death by her angry boyfriend because she posted the picture of another man on her status.
Engamba Laeticia’s alleged boyfriend has been arrested and put into custody as the prime suspect for further investigations.
