On the 25th of July 1991, FORBI ROMEO was born into the FORBl‘S family and the young star happens to be the benjamin of a family of five (4 boys 1 girl). Growing up as a child, he was so in love and passionate about soccer and rap music. He dreamt of following a career in soccer. Unfortunately for the young star, everything changed as he lost his father at a very tender age. Hence, conditioned by his mom to provide her with a Bachelor’s degree before continuing with his dream for soccer. But then, immediately after obtaining a BSc from the UNIVERSITY OF BUEA where his love and passion for music superseded that for soccer. In the university, he wrote and composed his first 2 songs (Deception and Njaka 4 Kwata). Then the zeal of pursuing a career in soccer faded somehow to that of music when he picked up a job as Operation Manager with a tourism company called CENTRAL AFRICAN TOURS (CAT) BONAPRISO Douala where he worked for 3 years. During this period with CAT, from 2014 – to 2017 his passion for music kept growing, and a song titled AHUKA GONGOLI was composed.
Everything changed in December 2015 when FORBI ROMEO‘s only remaining parent whom he always referred to as his “ONE MAN ARMY” and “BACKBONE” was snatched from him by the cold hands of death. From that time only music could console him and help him forget his grief. 2 years later (2017) he resigned from CAT and engaged himself in business activities. Then “FORBI LYON” the music star was officially born with his first official release in 2019 titled “Muna Mboa“, followed by the second release in 2021 – “Black Et Fort”
