Cameroonian Female Rapper Tilla (Tafari) has reportedly attempted to commit suicide. The incident happened today in the North West region of Cameroon, Bamenda where the rapper now resides.
Tilla, single mother of one revealed through her Facebook page she was tired of living.
She wrote and we quote;
I’m tired of living. Just wanted to say goodbye. No pity party please. Everyone will die at some point so please don’t dramatize this.
Just accept it and say your good-byes. Not that I care at this point. Just want to give some closure to those of you who might care. I’ve tried to stay alive for so long but I’m no longer fighting. I never asked to be born in the first place. I hate this earth.
Later on we received updates that she was rushed to the hospital after taking in some poisonous substance to end her life. Tilla is currently receiving treatment in the hospital.
It should be recalled that some months ago, Tilla had shared her story online. Where she revealed she was raped by her uncle when she was younger. And also in a violent relationship with her former baby daddy. Nevertheless, she was able to leave all that behind and begin a new life. Little did we know the depression was not all over. And today she writes a goodbye letter to her loves ones.
The public as usual as received this suicidal attempt with mixed feelings. To some it’s a stunt she’s pulling, while others show their sympathy. Here are a few screenshots;
