Official! Samuel Eto’o increases minimum salary of players in Cameroon professional club

Fecafoot President Samuel Eto’o has officially increased minimum salary of players in the Cameroon professional club. These resolutions were adopted by the FECAFOOT Executive Committee and General Assembly.

He increased the minimum salary of players in Elite one, Elite two and Women’s Guinness Super League Championship ahead of the 2022/2023 seasons. As seen below;

• Minimum wage for a MTN Elite Player at 200,000 FCFA.
• Minimum for a Guinness Super League player at 100,000 FCFA.
• MTN Elite Two players at 75,000 FCFA minimum.

Note that there is no limit for a maximum wage, as clubs can pay as much as they want, but no player registered by a team shall earn below the stated figures in the respective competitions.
