Pierose Untamed originally born Peter Ebot is a Cameroonian songwriter and rapper. Pierose Untamed was born in Bamenda, North West region of Cameroon on the 11th of October 1992. The 29-year-old artist’s love for hip hop culture and life style inspired him to become a rapper.
Early Life
Growing up, Pierose started developing an interest in music at a very early age as he used to listen to his elder brother do music. Still, at that young age, young Pierose will sit by the radio, listening as they play his brother’s songs alongside artists like Magasco and T Drops. And at that very moment, he discovered his call, wishing and praying people get to listen to him as they listen to other artists.
Education
Upon completing his primary and secondary education, Pierose Untamed headed to Yaounde to further his education. There, he schooled at the Advanced Level/High School (EHS) Yaoundé. From there, he continued at the CITEC HITM University Yaounde, where he did Banking and Finace, backing an HND degree and Bachelors degree in 2014 and 2015 respectively. Despite concentrating on his education, he still took out time to write some songs. It was only after his Bachelor degree that he published his first song.
Career
According to the singer, he started music in the year 2008 at the age of 16 but officially got into the music industry in the year 2015. As it was only then that his songs were put available on all music streaming platforms. Drawing inspiration from Artists like Jay Z, DMX, MIMs, P Diddy, Tom Yoms and BIG, Pierose laid his foundation.
Pierose Untamed sees his arts as an expression tool, therapy and his way of connecting with the world. The fact that he is able to sing and express emotions that people can easily relate to, gives him a form of healing. And most importantly to be present even in Absence.
The sensational rapper has released a number of singles and jumped on covers of some songs. Some covers he did were, “Alcohol” and “Lemon Pepper”. And on the both he gave an exceptional twist, blending with his rap. On the 4th of January, the rapper featured Buea base rapper Yung Time on “Trade Fair Freestyle”. As expected he did the hits justice like a champ.
Projects
As per projects, Pierose Untamed has so far released two amazing projects. His first was in 2018 where he released his debut EP titled “Not Casual”. The Ep Not Casual comprises of 6 tracks. And before the end of 2021, he had released his second EP titled “Brawl”.
Pierose Untamed has been tipped by fans and music lovers as an artist to look out for in 2022.
