EA Sports has used FIFA 23 to predict the outcome of the 2022 World Cup. With them predicting that Argentina will beat Brazil in an all-South American final.
According to the outcome, Cameroon will be eliminated in the group stage, while Brazil and Switzerland will qualify from the Indomitable Lions’ group. And Senegal is the only African team that will reach the round of 16 where they will lose to the USA.
Curiously, EA Sports used this method in the last 3 editions of the World Cup, and correctly predicted the winner in each case. Interestingly, EA Sports has correctly picked the winners from each of the last three World Cup finals and are looking to make it four on the spin – while they also predicted the outcome for the team of the tournament.
Lionel Messi is also forecasted to win the Golden Boot with a return of seven goals in eight matches.
