The musician who recently celebrated his 50th Anniversary in Music back in February 2021, died at the General Hospital in Douala. Unverified information reaching us is that the musician died of Covid.
François Nkotti usually Called himself “Desto” and was a big promoter of Cameroonian Music. He was also a politician who ran for the post of Mayor of Bonaléa, a town located in the Littoral region, served two terms before relinquishing his post.
Nkotti François was the founder of the group “Les Blacks Styls“. In his early days, he was the lead singer of the “Les Fantastic Boys” orchestra.
