Cameroon national team was named among five other nominees for the 2022 CAF National Team of the Year award. The indomitable Lions had a very remarkable performance at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year. In their journey during the 2021 AFCON, they overcame a number of African giants.
The final five-team nominees’ list also included Senegal, Burkina Faso, Egypt, and Morocco.
The CAF Awards ceremony is approaching fast. Subsequently the Confederation of African Football is set to award the best in various categories on July 21 in Morocco. The African body has also unveiled, on Monday 11, the list of finalists. This year CAF Awards will be held prior to the finals of the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations currently taking place in Morroco.
