Popular Cameroonian songstress Bailly Larinette Tatah aka Blanche Bailly might have been arrested by Buea Police for allegedly involved in a stolen refrigerator.
Why Blanche Bailly Was Arrested
According to unconfirmed rumour currently circulating the web like wildfire, Blanche Bailly was arrested today Tuesday 04th October, right from her apartment in Buea. Rumours have it that everything started from a stolen refrigerator which Blanche Bailly has been linked to.
Other sources disclosed that, Blanche allegedly bought the refrigerator from someone who is not the original owner at a very low price in Buea. The owner of the refrigerator, also a celebrity in Cameroon, then reported the disappearance of the refrigerator and other property to the police. After investigation, the culprit who sold the refrigerator was arrested after by the Cameroon National Police.
When the owner of the stolen tools discovered that Blanche Bailly was one of the buyers of the stolen items, he contacted Bailly several times through the Cameroonian National Police out of respect for her status but to no avail. With intentions that she would reimburse him for the stolen property, but Blanche still ignored him.
The police officers who were already investigating the case received an anonymous tip that Blanche intended to move the refrigerator to Douala and an arrest order was issued.
When police arrived at her home, Blanche had a truck parked outside, ready to go, but she was live on Facebook interacting with her fans according to klein Reporters. The police respectfully knocked on her door in contrary to what is seen in videos circulating the net.
Our source has it that, Blanche started shouting and informing her fans of the police presence, as if she knew they were coming and wanted to highlight them. Finally, she opened the door and began to awkwardly address the Cameroon National Police officer, staging her arrest, while filming, and Using her baby boy as a shield.
Immediately the humiliation happened, the officer called for backup and Blanche Bailly was arrested and taken away to an undisclosed police station.
