Penetrating their songs into the International level, has been the dream of many Cameroonian artists. Nigeria especially is that one foreign market our artists have been targeting for a long time now. And yesterday Cameroonian singer Blaise B (Mr Romantic) brags of been the first Cameroonian artist to feature on Trace Naija. His latest release titled “ANACONDA” was played on the tv channel. The Akwandor Empire boss took to his social media pages to announce this exciting news.
Blaise B is one of those Cameroonian artists whose consistency and professionalism has kept his career on the right track. His love for the growth of the industry is one thing fans love about him.
The Chief Executive Officer at the Cameroon International film festival – CAMIFF, Agbor Gilbert confirms that during the 1st edition of the Cameroon International Music festival, they had as main objective to collaborate with Trace Anglophone West Africa. Certainly, with Blaise B already featuring on Trace Naija, means work has begun.
Nevertheless, report says Blaise B is not the first Cameroonian Urban artist to feature on Trace Naija. But you can’t blame him for saying so, the excitement has gotten into his head. Is it easy? Rather Tzy Panchak was the first to feature on Trace Naija in 2017. So it is rather just to say Blaise B is the first Cameroonian artist to feature on Trace Naija in 2022.
This is not only a win, for Blaise B alone but the Music Industry at large. This is so because Cameroonian artists can now have assets to the large market in Nigeria.
Congrats Blaise B, keep doing the good work.
