A Buea based lady Leki Precious ended her life because of a heartbreak. This is the second time such a tragedy is happening in Buea. A suic!de ideation should never be an option when you are depressed from a heartbreak ?.
It is true, human beings are hardwired with the ability to experience pleasure from intimate connections and depressive pain from heartbreak.
This is because our brains instinctually view relationships, and the resources they provide, as essential for survival.
The sudden withdrawal of the love and resources cause a heart ache, ruminations, and less interest in life.
It is difficult to get over this feeling but it is very possible. We should be able to get over it rather than taking our lives.
It’s a gradual process to strip yourself of that dependability from the one you love.
Leki Precious was beautiful and possessed the potential of having a more deserving partner.
